The Power of Eco-Branding

The Eco-Conscious Hotel Association is based on three foundational principles.

  1. The first is to encourage, not alienate, those looking to do better by reducing the environmental impact of their lodging property.
  2. The second is to provide pathways for hotels and related industry players to constantly work towards reducing their environmental impact by incorporating sustainable methods of thinking into all levels of their decision-making process.
  3. The final principle is to capitalize on these actions as a catalyst to a hotel's success. Sustainable business practices provide direct cost savings and enhanced notoriety, allowing you to better market your property as an appealing eco-conscious tourism and hospitality destination.

Our focus on continuous improvement allows hotels to participate in our organization at all stages of their sustainability journey. For those more seasoned organizations, we make a point to review your current performance and future sustainability agendas.

Our goal is to have as many properties as possible take progressive, calculated steps towards sustainability. We firmly believe it is better to have thousands of hotels reducing their carbon footprint consistently and incrementally than just a handful of entirely carbon-neutral hotels.
